Sean Lurman may be young, but his natural musical ability is way beyond his years.
Sean Lurman is a very humble young man who has been performing in public since he was 11.
Sean is fortunate to have a huge amount of support from family, friends and fellow musicians who encourage his passion. He has managed to balance education and growth alongside his extremely busy schedule.
As a guitarist Sean has been told by many musicians that he has a truly genuine ‘feel’ when he plays, with technique that surpasses his years. His biggest achievement to date was winning four gold medals and an Overall World Champion Award at WCOPA (World Championships of Performing Arts) in Los Angeles in 2023.
Sean returned to the USA in 2024 where he got to rub shoulders with the legendary Don Felder backstage after his show in Indio, CA. He also attended the Hendrix Experience in Anaheim, where he met the Blues Maestro himself, Taj Mahal, and the one and only Janie Hendrix. This incredible show also featured the likes of Eric Johnson, Zakk Wylde, 'Kingfish', Kenny Wayne Shepherd and Noah Hunt.
Sean has also been blessed to share the stage with some top artists such as Steve Arvey, Elles Bailey and many more. He recently attended Blues on Broadbeach 2025 and was invited up to perform with Sugar Game. He also met the talented Stefan Hauk and Hussy Hicks with Minnie Marks. Look out for him at his 3rd Bay of Islands Jazz and Blues Festival in August 2025.
